Cihan University–Erbil Students Visit the Central Library of the University of Lodz in Poland

On Friday, October 31, 2025, fourth-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil Seedra Nihad Isshaq , Raya Ameer Aljabbar, and Avin Raad Mohammed conducted a scientific visit to the Central Library of the University of Lodz in Poland.

Established in 1945, it is considered one of the largest and most comprehensive academic libraries in the region. It houses approximately 3.5 million books and documents, both print and digital, covering a wide range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.

During the visit, the students thoroughly explored the various sections of the library and became acquainted with its advanced electronic resource systems and the services it provides to support academics and researchers. Consequently, it plays a pivotal role in advancing the university’s educational and research activities.

The visit represented an important step toward enhancing the students’ capabilities and familiarizing them with the latest library systems and technologies at the international level.
