Cihan University – Erbil Students Visit the Iraqi Cultural Centre in London

As part of the University’s academic and cultural program in the United Kingdom, Cihan University – Erbil students visited the Iraqi Cultural Centre in London on Thursday, July 9, 2026, after their academic visit to Kingston University.
The visit involved Ali Maher Dawood, a 4th-year student in the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis, and Rekawt Abdullah Rasul, a 4th-year student in the Department of Computer Science, accompanied by Cihan University – Erbil lecturer Dr. Anas Al-Khouri. It was held under the supervision of Mr. Hassan Al-Hadithi from IFG.
They were received by Dr. Abdul Hameed Al-Sayeh, who introduced them to the Iraqi Cultural Centre, its mission, and role in promoting Iraqi culture in the United Kingdom. He also presented an overview of the Centre’s cultural and academic services and activities that support the Iraqi community and strengthen cultural and educational engagement.
The visit also included a brief presentation highlighting several distinguished Iraqi scientists and academics whose achievements have made significant contributions to British universities and research institutions.
