Cihan University – Erbil Students Visit the University of East London to Explore Postgraduate Study Opportunities

As part of its commitment to strengthening international academic collaboration and expanding global educational opportunities, Cihan University – Erbil organized an academic visit to the University of East London (UEL) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The visit involved students Ali Maher Dawood (4th-year, Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis) and Rekawt Abdullah Rasul (4th-year, Department of Computer Science), accompanied by Dr. Anas Al-Khouri under the supervision of IFG.

Upon arrival, they were warmly received by Dr. Mohammad Baber, Head of International Relations at the University of East London. During the meeting, Dr. Mohammad delivered a comprehensive presentation introducing the university, its academic colleges and disciplines, postgraduate programs—particularly Master’s degrees—admission procedures, and the educational opportunities for international students.

They were later given a guided tour of the university campus, where they explored classrooms, research laboratories, the library, and several academic departments. They gained valuable insights into the university’s modern learning environment and the wide range of facilities and services available to students.

Overall, the visit focused on fostering international academic partnerships and providing its students with opportunities to engage with leading universities and explore future postgraduate study options abroad.
