Cihan University-Erbil, with the Faculty of Architecture of Poznan University of Technology, discusses the mechanisms of joint agreements
On the last day of the visit of the delegation of Cihan University-Erbil led by Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi to Poland، they came to a significant agreement with the Faculty of Architecture of Poznan University of Technology.
On Friday، May 12, 2023, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi، President of Cihan University-Erbil، met with Prof. Dr. Barbara Swit-Jankowska،Vice-Dean for Students Affairs at the Faculty of Architecture.
The meeting، which was attended by Associate Prof. Adam Nadolny، the Coordinator for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Architecture, and some academic staff in the same field، how to strengthen relations between them was discussed.
For this reason, Cihan University-Erbil and Poznan University of Technology both agreed on some crucial points and mechanisms for this agreement, such as the creation of joint research groups between departments and joint colleges, the exchange of scientific staff and students through the Erasmus Plus program, as well as the agreement on the opening of a joint advisory office in the field of engineering, on the other hand, the possibility to complete master’s and doctorate studies, was another area of agreement between them. They agreed simultaneously to organize and administer the international scientific conference in the domains of architectural engineering.
However, the Faculty of Architecture at Poznan University of Technology reaffirmed the university’s desire to take part in the reconstruction of Kurdistan, particularly in Erbil and in the field of architecture. As a result, the President of Cihan University-Erbil reaffirmed the university’s support and willingness for this demand.
In this way، the delegation of Cihan University Erbil، headed by Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil،, and the membership of asst. Prof. Dr. Maysoon Al- Haideri، Vice-President for Scientific Affairs، and Dr. Salih Mustafa Salih Zebari، the Director of the International Relations Office of the university، completed their scientific achievements and returned to the Kurdistan Region.
