On Thursday, October 8, 2026, fifth-stage students from the College of Dentistry at Cihan University–Erbil conducted an educational visit to Daban Basic School to raise awareness of oral health and promote proper dental hygiene among school children.

The visit was supervised by Mrs. Rubar Ramadan Ali, and the school principal, Mr. Zardasht Saiffadin Shuker, warmly received the visiting group.

As part of the initiative, the students conducted dental examinations, assessed the children’s oral health, and provided practical guidance on maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing common dental diseases.

School children who required further dental treatment were referred to the Clinics of the College of Dentistry, where they will receive free dental care under professional supervision.
