On 29 September 2026, second-stage students from the College of Dentistry participated in the DENTOVATE 2026 Seminar, organized by Advanced Made-Training Center under the supervision of Lecturer Razan Burhanaldden Mohamad.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Herish Sherwani, was entitled ‘Loading Protocols in Oral Implantology: Immediate, Early, Progressive, and Delayed Loading.’ It provided a comprehensive overview of different implant loading protocols, including immediate, early, progressive, and delayed loading. The speaker explained the principles, indications, advantages, limitations, and clinical requirements of each protocol, with particular emphasis on primary implant stability, bone quality, healing time, osseointegration, and appropriate patient selection.
Clinical considerations and case-based examples were also discussed to help students understand how dentists select the most suitable loading protocol according to each patient’s condition and treatment requirements. Special attention was given to clinical decision-making and the factors that influence the long-term success of dental implants.
At the end of the seminar, the participating students received certificates of participation and gifts in recognition of their attendance, engagement, and active involvement in the scientific activity.
