College of Dentistry Students Participated in the 3rd Scientific Dental Conference in Erbil

On Thursday, October 2, 2025, the 3rd Scientific Conference for Dentists commenced at the Erbil International Hotel, featuring active participation from students of the Cihan University-Erbil College of Dentistry.

Fourth-year students from the College, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Shwan Khayam Massum and Hassan Faez Abdullah, took part in the event, which was attended by a large number of dentists, professors, and guests from both inside and outside Iraq.

During the first day of the conference, several valuable scientific papers were presented by researchers and specialists, addressing various aspects of oral and dental diseases. The presentations also highlighted the latest diagnostic and treatment methods currently adopted worldwide, offering attendees deep insights and up-to-date knowledge in the field. Cihan University-Erbil students maintained an active presence throughout the conference’s panels and discussions.

Alongside the conference, an exhibition was held showcasing the latest technologies, equipment, products, and medical supplies used in dentistry. This exhibition provided an important opportunity for students of the Cihan University-Erbil College of Dentistry and dentists in general to learn about recent innovations and become familiar with advanced tools and techniques that contribute to enhancing healthcare quality and developing the professional capabilities of dentists and dental specialists.
