College of Pharmacy Students Visited Kurdistan High School in Erbil

On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, a group of third-year students from the College of Pharmacy visited Kurdistan High School under the supervision of the college dean.

The students were Bilal Bashdar, Piran Fars, Shamal Khalid, Barz Henderin, and Wrya Yousif, Weshyar Mustafa Abbas, the school principal, received, then who presented a seminar titled The Side Effects of Social Media Misuse and Developing Students’ Skills. It was attended by school students and teaching staff.

During the seminar, the students drew the audience’s attention to the topic of how to become addicted to social media, the signs of addiction, and the solutions. They also pointed out several ways to improve students’ skills and talents.

At the end of the seminar, they presented several sample charts for treating addiction and improving students’ skills, as well as how to focus on their studies and further develop their abilities.
