Computer Science Department Students Conduct Awareness Campaign on E-Commerce Website Design at Hiran School

Fourth-stage students from the Department of Computer Science at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit to Hiran School on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. They were received by the school’s principal, Ms. Tavan Kamil Hussein, who welcomed the scientific initiative and expressed her appreciation for the efforts of Cihan University–Erbil in supporting purposeful awareness activities. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of such campaigns in developing students’ skills and preparing them for future requirements, praising the university’s role in directing youth energy toward innovation and community service.

The campaign began with the students introducing the significance of smart applications in enhancing financial awareness and investment management. They presented their innovative project—an advanced AI-based web application—supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Razzouqi Flaih. The application is designed to help users manage their personal budgets effectively.

During the presentation, the students—Zanyar Rzgar, Aydn Bahnam, Ali Hussam, and Shahab Ahmed—showcased the key features of the application. They explained how it can be used for daily expense tracking, budget management, and receiving smart alerts when financial limits are exceeded. Furthermore, they demonstrated how the application provides customized investment advice based on data analysis and supports future financial planning through goal setting and monitoring.

The event witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees, who expressed interest in using modern technologies to achieve financial stability and build early economic awareness. At the end of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude to the administration of Hiran School for their warm reception and cooperation.
