Department of Business Administration held a seminar titled “Creating Uncontested Market Space by Making Competition Irrelevant” by Dr. Aram Hanak, which included an explanation of the Blue Ocean strategy, how to create an unwanted market space and make competition irrelevant, an unexploited market space and untapped By competitors. Blue Ocean’s strategy suggests that companies can achieve more success by creating a blue ocean, rather than trying to compete in the red ocean – the traditional market space full of rival competitors. The seminar was attended by the staff of the department.
