David Kabbe’s Visit to Cihan University

    Department of English in Cihan university  hosted the famous American film maker, David Kabbe who delivered a seminar on Sunday, the 2nd of April, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the VIP Hall.The guest talked about the early years of his career as a story teller and film maker which continued to witness a myriad of leadership roles in film and television: film development, line producing, stunts, live production, documentary and consulting. Kabbe is known for his work in films , like ” 3 Days Gone”  , ” Heist”, “Assassin Nine” , and others.

     Kabbe expressed his happiness to be in the Kurdistan region for the first time , ,meeting wonerful people and seeing amazing places.He intends to meet young film makers in the region to convey his experiance and share his different vision for a new investment in media and film making. The audiance raised several questions regarding the cost and circumstances of film production before and now.The presenter also answered questions concerning the difficulties he faces in his career, his favourite film , and aspects of life his films reflect.
