On Sunday, 11 October 2026, a group of second-stage students from the Department of Dental Technology at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific field visit to Eterna Smile Dental Lab in Erbil.

The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Suzyar Omar. Upon arrival, the students were welcomed by the laboratory manager, Mahmoud Farooq Agha, who introduced them to the laboratory’s organizational structure, specialized departments, technical equipment, and operating systems.

The students then toured the laboratory’s specialized units and explored the equipment and materials used in dental fabrication. Laboratory personnel explained the different stages of the production process and demonstrated various dental manufacturing techniques.

During the visit, the students observed practical workflows carried out by the technical staff, gaining insights into the fabrication of various types of dental prostheses.

The visit concluded with a question-and-answer session and a technical discussion, during which the students’ exchanged questions with laboratory specialists about dental fabrication methods and procedures.

Finally, Assistant Lecturer Suzyar Omar expressed her appreciation to the management and technical staff of Eterna Smile Dental Lab for their warm reception and cooperation in providing the students with valuable scientific and professional knowledge.
