Dental Technology Department Students Visit Masterpiece Dental Fabrication Laboratory

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Head of the Department of Dental Technology at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit for second-year students to the Masterpiece Dental Fabrication Laboratory.

During the visit, which was supervised by Assistant Lecturers Mahmoud Abdullah Ahmed and Maryam Fakher Ibrahim, the students were warmly received by Dr. Samer Abdo. He then delivered a scientific presentation on the latest techniques and digital technologies in the field of dental fabrication. He also introduced the students to the advanced professional stages of fabricating and implanting artificial teeth, utilizing modern international equipment and materials.

The students later posed several questions and observations to Dr. Samer regarding the latest methods and techniques used in advanced laboratories. He responded to their inquiries both scientifically and practically, thoroughly familiarizing them with digital workflow systems, especially those supported by artificial intelligence, which contribute to producing high-quality artificial dental implants in terms of both efficiency and aesthetics.

At the conclusion of the visit, the supervising lecturers extended their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Samer Abdo for providing this valuable opportunity and for sharing his scientific observations and insights.
