DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING ORGANIZED A FIELD TRIP TO THE LAGSH FINACIAL COMPANY

On 8 MAY 2023 (Monday), the Department of Accounting organized a field trip to Lagsh Finacial company in Erbil for second-stage students under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr. Hashem Mohd safi.

Mr. Abdullah, the company’s director, explained the company’s activities to the students and briefed them on the nature of the company’s work. Later, the students were also informed about the types of internal transfers, external transfers, and the workings of the transfer systems.

In addition, the company’s financial manager explained how to record accounting operations, exchange rate differences, how to divide the accounts belonging to the company, and how to record internal and external transfer accounts, as well as accounts for the company’s branches and how to deal with bank transfers and credit cards.

The scientific visit concluded with an overview of the company’s accounting system, where the students were given the opportunity to ask questions about financial transfers in general.
