DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING ORGANIZED A FIELD TRIP TO THE LUX-LINE COMPANY

On 19 October 2022 (Wednesday), the Department of Accounting organized a field trip to LUX-Line company on pharmaceutical and medical equipment for fourth-stage students under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Hashem Mohammed Safi.

Lecturer Dr. Hashem Mohammed Safi and fourth-stage students were welcomed by Mr. Ammar Ali Jalal, the general manager of the company. He briefed them on the company departments, work methods, and the procedures in the storage process.

 The students were also briefed on the pharmaceutical brands and medical supplies that are used in distribution. During this scientific, the students were given the opportunity to ask questions about medical products, their specifications, the promotion strategies used for each of them, and their differences from other products in different sectors. Later, the students met the financial manager of the company; he informed the students about how to calculate and record the percentage of sellers and company expenses.

At the end of the visit, Lecturer Dr. Hashem Mohammed Safi thanked Mr. Ammar Ali Jalal and the company staff for providing this opportunity to the students.
