DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING ORGANIZED A FIELD TRIP TO THE RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

On 17 November 2022 (Thursday), the Department of Accounting organized a field trip to the Pavilion Residential Project in Erbil for third-stage students under the supervision of the Lecturer, Dr. Hashem Mohammad Safi.

The company’s sales manager briefed and toured the students on the company departments, methods of work in the company; types of real estate available in the project, residential or commercial, and other available offers. Next, the students met the financial manager at Pavilion Residential Project.

He explained in depth to the students on ways how to record accounting operations, purchase raw materials, divide the company’s accounts, register the contractors’ accounts, as well as the accounting registration sales.

Moreover, the students were also briefed on percentage of sales representatives, methods of calculating, recording the percentage of sales representatives, and the company’s expenses.

The scientific visit concluded by looking at the final map of the project, in which the students were given the opportunity to ask their questions about the projects.
