Department of Architectural Engineering Explores the Architectural and Structural Designs of Cihan Residential City

On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit for third-stage students to Cihan Residential City under the supervision of Dr. Nagham Ismael Yahya.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with one of Erbil’s successful housing projects, recognized as a benchmark for design excellence. The project provides an ideal residential environment both indoors and outdoors.

The engineering team warmly welcomed the students and provided a detailed explanation of the project’s features. The visit was highly successful, as students gained a thorough understanding of the various types of housing units and the associated services, including parking and other amenities.

This enriching experience significantly deepened the students’ knowledge of housing projects and emphasized the importance of social spaces and green areas in enhancing quality of life.
