DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZED RAMADAN IFTAR MEALS FOR ELDERLY HOME IN ERBIL.
The Department of Business Adminstration organized a Ramadan Iftar meal for elderly home in Erbil as part of a volunteer and humanitarian effort led by Assistant Lecturer Bushra Ali.
There was an atmosphere of love and happiness between the students and elderly home residents during the preparation of the Iftar meal. Before that, unprecedented preparations were made for the residents of the elderly home to express their joy at the student’s presence. Lighten their emotional load to make up for the lack and family emptiness they already feel.
The iftar meal was followed by a mini Ramadan celebration attended by many business school students. Along with a group of young performers such as Haval, Tamarkhan and Joseph Ahmed, they played music and sang joyful songs. Elderly home residents are people who once supported and supported their children and grandchildren. Their world has changed so quickly that they never expected to find themselves in a small room dominated by silence, far from the noise of their grandchildren. Business Adminstration department has repeated the experience of the past few years to evoke even the slightest bit of joy in the faces of the elderly.
It is worth noting that this non-profit volunteer effort was made possible by the active contribution of student Hakar Muhammad. In addition to the participation of all members of the Student Activities Committee within the department, it is under the direct supervision of the Director of Business Adminstration.
