Department of Dental Technology Organizes Educational Trip to Masterpiece Laboratory

On January 23, 2025, the Department of Dental Technology at Cihan University-Erbil organized an educational trip for first-stage students to the Masterpiece Laboratory under supervision of Assistant Professor Ninos Polus Philip, Lecturer Hassan Faez Abdullah, and Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Abdullah Ahamad, the trip provided students with valuable insights into the field. The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and prepare them for future careers in dental technology.

During the visit, students explored the various departments of the Masterpiece Laboratory, gaining firsthand experience with the workflow, equipment operation, and organization of tasks essential to dental technology. They observed the intricate process of crafting dental prosthetics, from initial design to final production, while the laboratory team demonstrated critical techniques and explained the priorities involved in dental technology work. The visit also featured interactive seminars led by the laboratory team, offering students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of key concepts in the field.
