Department of English Language Students Organize Educational Activity at Ronia Secondary School

On Monday, September 28, 2026, fourth-stage students from the Department of English Language at Cihan University–Erbil conducted an educational activity at Ronia Secondary School under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Rozhin Hosseini.

Upon their arrival, the university students were warmly received by Ms. Hasiba Ahmad, Principal of Ronia Secondary School. The participating students included Paband Fouad Abdullah and Suzan Mohammad Abdulrazaq.

During the activity, Paband Fouad Abdullah delivered a presentation on the importance of developing English language skills and expanding vocabulary among school students. Suzan Mohammad Abdulrazaq discussed vocabulary development and introduced examples and activities designed to help students learn new words, understand their meanings in context, and use them confidently in communication.

The students engaged with the learners of Ronia Secondary School through educational activities and interactive discussions focused on English language skills and vocabulary development. The activities encouraged the students to participate, ask questions, and practice using newly acquired vocabulary in meaningful contexts.

The activity concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which the school students raised questions related to the topics presented, and the university students provided explanations and answers. The educational exchange created an engaging learning environment and allowed the participants to share knowledge and experiences.
