Department of General Education Follows Up on Its Graduates in the Educational Field and Visits Its Distinguished Alumna at Her Workplace

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, as part of the General Education Department’s ongoing commitment to tracking its graduates and assessing how well its academic outcomes align with labor market needs, students from this department conducted a field visit to Rawaa Private School.

During the visit, the students met with the school principal, Mrs. Noora Rasheed Majeed, who expressed her pride in alumna Bdoor Hameed, praising her high professional standards and outstanding pedagogical performance. She affirmed that Bdoor represents a distinguished model of Cihan University–Erbil graduates and commended the university for the strong academic preparation it provides, which is clearly reflected in the performance of its alumni in the educational sector.

For his part, the Head of the Department of General Education, Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun, explained that this visit is part of a series of field visits organized by the department to track its graduates and identify the needs of the educational field, intending to further develop academic programs and achieve comprehensive quality in teacher preparation.

At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude to the school administration for their cooperation and warm welcome, and conveyed their pride in their department’s alumna, who has exemplified the values and mission of Cihan University–Erbil through her excellence in the educational field.
