Department of General Education Students Visited Arame House

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, a group of second-stage students from the Department of General Education at Cihan University Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Shwana Qadir Perot, visited Arame House. The purpose of their visit was to provide support to the organization dedicated to people with special needs by distributing essential clothing items to the residents of the House.

Upon their arrival, the students and their supervisor were warmly received by Mrs. Narmeen Shaban, the director of Arame House. Mrs. Narmeen expressed her deepest appreciation and acknowledged the students’ and the supervisor’s commitment to making a positive influence on the lives of the residents through their thoughtful donation.

During their visit, the students also engaged in meaningful communication with the residents, fostering a sense of connection and empathy. Assistant Lecturer Shwana Qadir Perot highlighted the importance of instilling values of social responsibility and compassion in the academic journey, turning education into a force for positive change.
