DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT FOR ITS STUDENTS TO K24 CHANNEL

On August, 8, 2023, the Media Department of Cihan University-Erbil held an academic visit for first and third stage students led by Assistant Lecturer WSheyar Muhammad Amin Mustafa to 24k channel.

Assistant Lecturer WSheyar Muhammad Amin Mustafa and the students were welcomed by the Channel’s Director of Communications, Mr. Abdul Hamid Zebari, who briefed the students on how to manage media in Kurdistan in general and Kurdistan 24 Channel in particular.

The students then visited the newsroom, where Kurdistan 24 newsroom director Kovan Ezzat spoke about the mechanism by which the channel receives press releases and how they prepare to reach the publication stage. bottom.

In another part of the visit, students were introduced to the basics of television report writing, television report editing and technical preparation, television report selection and publication preparation.

At the end of the visit, technical and directing students were briefed to see how they work and to review the latest developments in the field of media technology.
