Department of Media Participates in a Friendly Football Match with Erbil Polytechnic University

On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, students from the Department of Media at Cihan University–Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim, played a friendly football match against students from the Department of Information Systems Engineering at Erbil Polytechnic University.

The match took place at Italy City 2 Stadium in Erbil and included participants from the first, third, and fourth stages of the Department of Media. They competed against students from the Department of Information Systems Engineering at Erbil Polytechnic University. The match was played at a high level, characterized by strong competition and excellent sportsmanship. After considerable effort from both teams to secure victory, the Department of Media successfully concluded the match with a final score of seven goals to three.

At the end of the match, the supervising lecturer thanked the players from both teams for demonstrating a positive sporting spirit and avoiding any form of violence. He also expressed hope that this match would serve as a starting point for building a constructive and beneficial academic relationship between the two departments.
