DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA STUDENTS VISITED GEG FOR ADVERTISING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN

On May 10, 2023, the Department of Media organized a visit to GEG for Advertising and Graphic Design for first-stage students under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Wshiar Muhammad Amin Mustafa.

The company’s technical director, Mr. Omid Milo, welcomed Assistant Lecturer Wshiar Muhammad Amin Mustafa and the students. The students were briefed on graphic design development in Kurdistan and how to keep up with the latest developments in the field. He then briefly talked about the company, describing the technical beginnings, the major engineering, technical tools, and electronic programs used in his work. The main stages and steps that go through in advertising and graphic design production.

During the visit, students will gain more hands-on knowledge of the entire production process of graphic design, from the beginning of idea generation, to printing, preparation using modern programs, and delivery in its final form to the labor market. Students also asked questions about the working mechanism and the type of electronic program used. Especially today, graphics and advertising design is one of the most important areas of modern media activity.
