Department of Media visited Kurdistan 24 Channel

On Monday,17/10/2022, under the supervision of assistant lecturer Dana Osman Hussein, third-grade students from the media department visited the Kurdistan 24 establishment in Erbil.

Students were welcomed by Mr. Shvan Shwani, director of public relations, and then in a meeting, they discussed the beginnings of the establishment of Kurdistan Channel 24. He talked about the development and way they work for students and said that Kurdistan 24 Channel is a full political channel and focuses on local, regional, and international political issues.

In another part of the third-grade students’ visit, they visited Kurdistan 24 Radio and were welcomed by Handren Muhammad, the radio director. He spoke about the difference between working on radio, he said, Kurdistan had previously transmitted 24 programs and news on its television, but now in the new channel, we have decided to change the news. We will do it and then our radio will have a program and news for the radio.
