Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Students Engage in Professional Learning at Medico Event 2025

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mohammed M.Hussein, fourth-stage students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Cihan University-Erbil visited the Medico 2025 Event, a major exhibition featuring medical and pharmaceutical companies.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Aram Mohammed, a supervisor at the event, who provided an overview of the exhibition. The event showcased a variety of local and international medical companies, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical equipment suppliers, and healthcare technology firms. The students visited several booths and interacted with company representatives, learning about the latest innovations in clinical nutrition, dietary supplements, and medical instruments related to their field.

They also participated in a panel discussion titled The Role of Clinical Nutrition in Modern Healthcare, where they engaged in conversations with experts about the importance of nutritional therapy in disease prevention and patient care.

The visit allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of advancements in the medical and nutrition sectors, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into their future careers. The event provided them with a practical perspective on how their academic knowledge can be applied in real-world healthcare settings.
