Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Students Conduct Scientific Visit to the College of Education–Shaqlawa

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific and athletic field visit to the Department of Physical Education at the College of Education–Shaqlawa, Salahaddin University–Erbil. The visit, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Saeed Ahmed, aimed to strengthen academic collaboration and practical exchange between the two institutions.

Upon arrival, the delegation was received by Dr. Zin Dzay, Head of the Physical Education Department. Both parties discussed expanding scientific ties through joint research, coordinated athletic events, and shared academic knowledge to benefit students in various sports disciplines.

The visit also included a friendly volleyball match between students from both universities. Despite the cold and snowy weather, the match was lively and competitive, ending with a victory for the host team.

At the end of the visit, students thanked the department’s leadership for organizing this opportunity, emphasizing its importance in broadening their academic experience and strengthening professional relationships in the regional sports science community.
