Department of Physiotherapy: A Visit to Physiolife Center

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, third-stage students from the Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University–Erbil visited the Physiolife Center, under the supervision of Ms. Parween Askandar

The students were warmly received by Physiotherapist Aryan Adnan. During the visit, the staff at Physiolife Clinic provided detailed explanations of various physiotherapy procedures and demonstrated the advanced technologies used in patient care. They also demonstrated how different therapeutic devices are applied, including robotic-assisted rehabilitation systems. The clinic consisted of several specialized sections, such as electrotherapy, exercise therapy, manual therapy, and robotic therapy. During the visit, they observed real physiotherapy practices, understood the use of various treatment methods and devices—including physical modalities, exercise therapy, and robotic equipment—and connected theoretical knowledge with practical clinical applications.

Through this visit, they gained valuable insights into the organization of physiotherapy units and learned how various therapeutic and robotic equipment are utilized in patient rehabilitation. They also observed how treatment plans are designed and implemented, thereby enhancing their understanding of how physiotherapists help patients restore movement, function, and overall well-being.
