Department of Public Administration Students Conduct Scientific Visit to NorthLight Holding

On Monday, September 28, 2026, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Public Administration at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific visit to NorthLight Holding in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal.

The visit was organized to provide students with practical insights into the operations of the private sector, particularly in the areas of administrative organization, organizational management, corporate governance, human resource management, service delivery, and the application of professional standards in a diversified business environment.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Rasan Burhan, Sales Consultant, who introduced them to NorthLight Holding and provided an overview of the company’s organizational structure, business operations, and diverse portfolio of activities, including telecommunications and IT infrastructure, security solutions, laboratory and quality-control services, energy retail, real estate, and international trading.

During the visit, the students gained practical insights into how organizations with diverse business activities coordinate their operations, maintain organizational standards, manage human resources, and deliver services effectively. Particular attention was given to the importance of governance, transparency, regulatory compliance, innovation, and disciplined management in ensuring the effective operation and sustainable development of modern organizations.

At the end of the visit, the students and the supervising lecturer expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the management and staff of NorthLight Holding for their warm hospitality, valuable information, and cooperation.
