English Language Students Deliver Language Activities on Vocabulary and Competition at Zanst Secondary School

On Sunday, 8 February 2026, fourth-stage students from the Department of English Language at Cihan University–Erbil delivered an educational seminar and language activity competition at Zanst Secondary School.

The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Marwa Mahmood Ameen and warmly received by Mr. Mohammad Aram Kamal and the school staff upon the students’ arrival.

The seminar began with an interactive presentation on educational vocabulary aimed at strengthening the students’ English language skills. The university students introduced key words and guided learners through synonyms and antonyms, explaining how meanings change and how opposite words function in language. The secondary school students participated actively by practicing pronunciation, spelling, and comprehension, demonstrating enthusiasm and engagement throughout the session.

The event ended with a group photo commemorating the successful collaboration between Cihan University–Erbil and Zanst Secondary School. This activity reflected the university’s commitment to community engagement and student development while promoting effective and enjoyable English language learning for young learners.
