Final Assessments for Ministry of Education Teachers Successfully Held at Cihan University – Erbil

The final assessments for teachers from the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Region were successfully conducted by Cihan University – Erbil on Sunday and Monday, September 22 and 23, 2024. The training course was organized under the supervision of the Department of General Education and Cihan Academy, as part of a collaborative agreement between Cihan University – Erbil and the Ministry of Education.

The assessment process spanned two days: the first day featured a practical test focused on educational techniques and their applications, while the second day involved a theoretical test on subjects such as Teaching Methods, Measurement and Evaluation, Educational Psychology, and Classroom Management Strategies. A total of 89 trainees participated in the final evaluation.

Cihan University – Erbil organizes these specialized development courses annually to provide continuous professional education for Ministry of Education staff. The program is designed to equip teachers with the latest advancements in teaching, under the guidance of subject matter experts. This marks the third iteration of the course, following the first held in August 2022 and the second in August 2023.

The most recent course lasted six weeks, with three training days per week, amounting to 54 hours of instruction.
