First-Year Students of Dentistry College Visit Master Piece Dental Manufacturing Center
Among the scientific and practical activities organized by the College of Dentistry, First-year students conducted an educational visit to the Master Piece Dental Manufacturing Center on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturers Rana Khalil Hadi and Bahoz Hemdad Majeed. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of dental manufacturing processes and prosthetic devices.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the center’s various departments, where students received practical demonstrations on the design and fabrication of dental prosthetics using the latest technologies and digital equipment. They were introduced to the entire workflow, from taking measurements to producing the final restorations. Students also had the opportunity to observe how precise quality standards are applied in medical product manufacturing and to discuss the role of modern technology in improving efficiency and quality in this field.
The students expressed their appreciation for this experience, which enhanced their knowledge of practical applications and bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice. The supervisors emphasized the importance of such visits in refining students’ skills and preparing them for their future professional careers.
