General Education Department Celebrates “The International Teachers’ Day”

On Tuesday 5th of October-2021 ‘the International Teachers’ Day’, the Department of General Education formed a delegation led by head of the department Dr. Ahmad Abd Aoun , Assistant Lecturer Dashne Abdullah Saeed and along with a group of students of the department and visited the president of the university, Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Dalawi, to present a bouquet of flowers and congratulate him for this occasion. Moreover, the delegation also expressed gratitude to the academic staff of the university.
Later, the president of the university Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi thanked the delegation and appreciated the visit and wished success to all students in the future. Mr. president also stated that students can have a leadership role in society and one day they will become teachers and responsible for the education of the next generation. The delegation also visited many instructors from different departments in Cihan University-Erbil to present flowers and congratulate them on this occasion, which they hoped to continue the academic and scientific path to serve the community. Finally, the instructors thanked the delegation for celebrating this special day and wished them all the best in their future endeavor.
