General Education Department Students Have Begun Practical Training at Schools

Fourth-year students from the General Education Department at Cihan University–Erbil have begun their practical training at schools as part of the requirements for completing their university studies.

In this context, all fourth-year students are placed in various governmental and non-governmental schools this October 2025, under the supervision of the Head of the General Education Department, Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun, and the guidance of the department’s instructors.

During their field training in schools, students are given full opportunities by the school administrations to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired throughout their university years. Consequently, they teach various subjects according to the school timetables, putting into practice the knowledge and skills they have gained.

This training phase is a fundamental pillar and a key requirement for preparing General Education Department students for the teaching profession. It helps develop their skills in educational and communication areas and enhances their professional competence in effectively managing classrooms.
