General Education Students Conduct Scientific Field Visit to Shaheed Bahram Mixed Primary School
On January 26, 2026, third-stage students from the Department of General Education conducted a scientific field visit to Shaheed Bahram Mixed Primary School. The visit was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Dashne Abdullah Saeed as part of the department’s commitment to practical pedagogical training.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by the school principal, Mr. Faris Jawhar Ali, along with Ms. Shahla. The primary objective of the visit was to enable university students to observe and analyze modern teaching methodologies in a real classroom setting, with a particular focus on English Language Teaching (ELT).
During the observation sessions, the students examined how instructors integrated the four language skills listening, speaking, reading, and writing along with key language areas such as grammar, vocabulary, and phonetics. The visit also highlighted effective classroom management techniques and a range of strategies used to motivate young learners and promote active participation within a public-school environment.
The visit concluded with a formal session of appreciation, during which the supervising lecturer and the students expressed their sincere gratitude to the school principal and staff of Shaheed Bahram School for their hospitality and professional cooperation. The lecturer emphasized the importance of such visits in bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application and wished the school continued success in its educational mission.
