Implementing the MOU agreement between Cihan University- Erbil & Warsaw University of Life Science- SGGW, Poland

In implementation of the MOU agreement that was signed on 07/15/2019 between Cihan university-Erbil of and Warsaw university of Life Sciences, one of the oldest universities in Poland. In order to exchange experiences between the two universities as well as to learn about Polish cultural & customs, a delegation from Cihan University- Erbil visited Warsaw University of Life Sciences- SGGW on 11/29/ 2019 until 09/12/2019.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Salih Mustafa Salih, the head of the Nutrition Department and 10 students of the third stage of Nutrition Dept. The delegation met Prof. Sazada, the Vice- Rector of the University for International Relations Affair and a number of deans of colleges, academic staff, and after welcoming the delegation, many scientific and research issues were discussed, including dual degree with the Nutrition and other departments, the exchange of academic staff and the students between the two universities and how to form research groups between researchers,as well as making joint conferences, workshops and student graduation projects.

The delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation on the warm welcome and hospitality and suggested that a delegation from the University of Warsaw-SGGW to visit Cihan University – Erbil around April of this year 2020.During the visit, the delegation was attended several lectures and workshops about Human Nutrition, Food Technology, and Principles of Economic and Management, and the delegation introduced to the University facilities in terms of libraries, laboratories and scientific departments, especially with regard to the Department of Nutrition.
