Interior Design Engineering Department Students Visit the Erbil International Logistics Exhibition

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, a group of second-year students from the Interior Design Engineering Department at Cihan University–Erbil participated in an educational field visit to the Erbil International Logistics Exhibition.

The visit was organized under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed. Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Sanger Sabah Malla, who introduced them to the exhibition and explained the participation of various local and international companies. He focused on how each company designed its exhibition booth, highlighting differences in interior design concepts, spatial organization, circulation, lighting, materials, and visual identity.

During the visit, supervision guided the students in observing key interior design elements, such as material selection, color coordination, spatial zoning, display systems, and brand identity integration within the exhibition booths. She later encouraged them to analyze how interior design decisions influence visitor experience, movement, and engagement. They gained valuable knowledge about booth layout, display organization, and how interior design enhances functionality, visual impact, and communication within exhibition environments.
