Interior Design Engineering Department Students Visit the Pavilion Residential Project

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, second-year students from the Department of Interior Design Engineering at Cihan University – Erbil conducted a scientific visit to the Pavilion Residential Project under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed and Assistant Lab Instructor Ms. Gulan Abdulhadi Sabir.

Upon arrival, the students were received by sales manager Mr. Mustafa Abdulkhaliq Khalifa, who provided a detailed explanation of the project’s layout, orientation, and the placement of each residential unit. They were later given descriptions of the concept behind each zone, including the selection of Italian and German materials for specific units and the use of color combinations to create distinctive atmospheres in different areas. According to Mr. Mustafa, the project features carefully planned residential layouts, with open courtyards, functional partitions, and integrated circulation patterns that optimize light and space. He also provided additional information on how the living areas, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms were designed to balance functionality, aesthetics, and comfort, as well as how the choice of materials and finishes contributes to both practicality and visual appeal.

During the visit, Assistant Lecturer Lana further explained the design rationale behind each spatial element, including partition placement, furniture arrangement, and interior detailing.
