Media Department Students Conduct Seminar on Goal Setting and Success at Mohammad Nasir High School
On Thursday, January 29, 2026, fourth-stage students from the Media Department at Cihan University–Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Dlan Ismael Mawlood, conducted a seminar titled “Goal and Success” for the students of Mohammad Nasir High School for Girls in Erbil.
The event began with a warm welcome from Ms. Shirin Omer Arabok, the Principal of Mohammad Nasir High School, and Ms. Bekhal Othman Mohammad, the Social Researcher. They expressed their appreciation to the Media Department for its initiative in selecting schools to deliver motivational and awareness-raising seminars for students.
The seminar was presented by students Zerevan Tamo, Karzan Wahid, and Aso Ali. In the first part, Zerevan Tamo highlighted the importance of self-awareness as the foundational step toward achieving success. She explained how students can plan their future paths and pursue excellence by understanding their abilities, interests, and aspirations.
In the second part, Karzan Wahid outlined the stages of goal setting, focusing on three key questions: What is my passion? What are my talents? What are my values? He emphasized that by identifying these pillars, individuals can achieve success according to their own standards through thoughtful and well-planned efforts.
In the final segment, Aso Ali provided practical examples and insights into success and the essential steps required to achieve it. He encouraged students to set clear goals and take purposeful actions toward building a bright future for themselves, their families, and their nation, urging them not to allow obstacles to hinder their progress.
At the end of the visit, the administration of Mohammad Nasir High School commended the three students for their valuable presentations and expressed their hope for the continuation of such activities to help build a strong foundation for a successful future generation.
