Medical Laboratory Analysis Department Students Visit Hila Beauty Center

The Department of Medical Laboratory Analysis at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to Hila Beauty Center for its second-year students on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The visit, which was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Daban Kanbi Rashid, introduced students to practical applications of plasma preparation at the center.

Upon arrival, Mr. Amer Barzani received the students and later guided them on a tour of the center. He explained the different blood collection tubes used in plasma preparation and the importance of selecting a suitable tube for the intended procedure. He also discussed sample handling and the separation of blood components to obtain plasma used in injection procedures for joint pain and hair care.

The visit connected the students’ study of blood components, sample collection, and separation techniques with an application outside the diagnostic laboratory. It also helped them understand the importance of laboratory steps, from tube selection to sample handling, when preparing plasma for these procedures.
