Medical Microbiology Department Students Conduct Free Blood Testing Activity at Erbil Street Bazar
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, students from the Medical Microbiology Department at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a free blood testing activity for the public at Erbil Street Bazaar as part of their community service duties. The activity was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Ameena Sabah Mahmood Juma, Head of the Medical Microbiology Department.
During the activity, the students performed a variety of blood tests using standard laboratory equipment and sterile materials while following approved safety and infection control protocols. The testing stations were systematically organized to ensure accurate sample collection, proper handling procedures, and reliable documentation of results. Each participant received clear information about their test results and the general medical significance of routine blood investigations.
