Medical Microbiology Students Visited the Directorate of Health Affairs

Within the various activities of the Department of Medical Microbiology at Cihan University-Erbil, the third stage students of the aforementioned department organized a scientific visit to the Directorate of Health Affairs in Erbil on 25 September 2022 (Sunday) under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mr. Mustafa Thanoon Younis to learn about epidemic and transmission of diseases, especially within personal contact, the extent of their spread, how to limit and prevent them, the types of vaccines available and their importance.

The students benefited from the measures taken by the concerned health cadres. They also visited the Department of Community Health as well as the Department of Vaccine. This visit was a training lesson aimed at coexisting on the ground between the various scientific institutions and preparing future cadres.
