Organizing a Scientific visit to Urban Design sites
The Department of Architecture has organized a scientific visit for 4thyear students on January 28th 2020 to three sites in Erbil city. The students were guided by their supervisor (Asst. Lec. Alhan Faris Ibrahim). The gathering of the students was at 10:00 a.m. and the bus went off at 10:15 a.m. Three suggested sites have been visited which are they (Rojhalat at Koya Road, a site at Ainkawa 108, and a site at 100-meter street).
The visit is one of the requirements of (Urban Design I) to choose the suitable site for the proposed project, besides to the main purpose of this scientific visit which is to collect information related with the chosen site regarding the neighborhoods, surrounding streets, north direction and the orientation of the site.
