Participation in an International Scientific Activity on the Quality of University Education

Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun, Head of General Education department at Cihan University – Erbil, participated in the international scientific lecture held by the Researchers and Academics Platform (IFAD) and the International Foundation for Academic Development in the United Kingdom. The lecture was entitled in “Standards of Quality Performance in the Educational Process”. The lecture was held via online platform – ZOOM Application, on Tuesday, 01/26/2021 and it was presented by Dr. Shurooq Al-Shanti from the University of Palestine in the virtual presence of (300) participants.

During the lecture, the quality standards of the educational process, its objectives, foundations and methods of activating them were reviewed, especially with regard to university education. As well as the most important methods and strategies used in the teaching and learning process. Moreover, how to differentiate between teaching and learning according to mental maps, collective and individual evaluation, and a measure of teaching competencies. The participation of the attendees was received and their questions and inquiries were answered.
