PARTICIPATION OF CIHAN UNIVERSITY-ERBIL STUDENTS IN IRAQI TAEKWONDO COMPETITION

On 3 -5 November 2022 (Thursday-Saturday), the third-stage student from Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Hazhar Wahab Abdul Hamidin participated in 89 tournament clubs, with more than 600 players from all categories and from all over Iraq.

The championship was held at Shaab’s Hall in Baghdad. It was overseen by the Iraqi Taekwondo Federation and the Korean Ambassador’s Cup, which included groups of boys, girls, juniors, young women and men.The coach of Hendren for Sports Club in Erbil entered the tournament with four girls and four boys.

Although it was reported that the men did not win a medal, they achieved good results in spite of their first experience.
