Pharmacy Student’s Participation in the Knowledge Workshop at the KSAPT 2025 Conference
Student Mustafa Sardar, a fourth-year student from the College of Pharmacy, participated in the Knowledge Workshop held as part of the KSAPT 2025 Conference, within the framework of the Global Forum for Exchange (GFEX).
The workshop, titled “New Psychoactive Substances in Digital Age Markets: Rapid Detection and AI-Enhanced Analysis,” held on October 27, 2025, at the Narcissus The Royal Hotel in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, held significant importance for medical and pharmacy students. This workshop served as a unique platform bringing together a select group of leading experts and specialists in the fields of pharmacy, forensic science, and artificial intelligence technologies. Participants, including student Mustafa Sardar, delved deeply into the latest methodologies for the rapid detection and precise analysis of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) in the complex markets of the digital age. Emphasis was placed on leveraging advanced AI techniques and digital tools in developing effective solutions to combat these harmful substances, particularly within the realm of public health.
Students had the opportunity to engage interactively in discussions, ask questions, and exchange ideas with experts, which enriched their educational experience and enhanced their analytical and problem-solving capabilities in this critical domain.
