DESCRIPTION
The department of Physiotherapy was established in 2017, as part of the Faculty of Health Technology at Cihan University-Erbil. The physiotherapy program places a high priority in improvement of general quality of life, injury prevention and treatment, and the promotion of good health are all key areas of concentration for the physiotherapists along with engaging in management, consultation, and research activities. The career options for graduates are extensive.
VISION
The Physiotherapy Program's vision is to lead the way in delivering top-notch educational programs and research in physiotherapy. It also aims to provide a creative and innovative approach to education that enhances human health and quality of life by utilizing cutting-edge technological opportunities to train students as knowledgeable and ethically-minded professionals.
MISSION
The Physiotherapy Program's mission is to provide students with a comprehensive education by combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. The students will receive training to become competent health care providers who are committed to ethical values, research-minded, physiotherapy essential skills, and reflective practice and critical thinking.
