Physiotherapy Department Advances to the Final in Cihan University-Erbil Football Championship

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Cihan University-Erbil Stadium hosted the final match of the fourth round of the mini-football championship between the university’s scientific departments. The tournament is organized under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

In the last match of the fourth round, the Media Department team played against the Physiotherapy Department team. The match ended in a draw between the two teams. It was an exciting match. After moving to penalty kicks, the Physiotherapy Department team won with seven goals to six. The Physiotherapy Department team advanced to the final.

It is worth noting that the by Cihan University-Erbil under the supervision of Dr. Zhian Jamal, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The tournament aims to promote sports   participation among students from different departments, fostering both athletic skill development and social interaction within the university community.
