Presidency of Cihan University-Erbil Honors Distinguished Students in the Translation Department

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Translation Department, under the generous patronage of the Presidency of Cihan University-Erbil, held a ceremony in the VIP Hall to honour distinguished students in the Translation Department, in recognition of their academic performance and effective contributions to the additional activities organized by the department, specifically the International Translation Day Workshop, which contributed to enhancing their skills and consolidating their knowledge in the field of translation.

University Vice President for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Karim Saeed honored the students, in the presence of the Head of the Translation Department, Lecturer Raad Saber Raouf, and the teaching staff in the Translation Department. In his speech, Dr. Abdul Sattar praised the positive role of those students, stressing that their excellence reflects their dedication to study and creativity in extracurricular activities. He added that the university will continue to support creative students and encourage them to invest their capabilities in a way that contributes to developing the university community and highlighting their skills more widely in the labour market.

This initiative is part of a series of activities through which the university seeks to motivate students to excel academically and commit to active participation in activities that enrich their educational experience and provide them with professional and practical skills that keep pace with the requirements of the era.
